Hot Mess

Upon going through my Google+ account, an experience not unlike sifting through endless office papers, I realize that this blog still exists.

E-gads, I think, it would appear the internet which I always assume is as translucent and finite as a puddle on the asphalt is, in fact, far more tangible a thing then I had imagined. It is true, what goes on the internet STAYS on the internet.

So as long as it's going to be taking up space on some server in Arizona somewhere, we might as well use it eh?

Many things have changed since last posting but many things have not. I am in my final year of college, never thought I'd say that, and it has come with all the stresses you could fathom. I feel I'm like many 24 year-olds in my position, not sure about the future that lies ahead. There are multiple reasons I feel this way;

The Economy
The field I'm vying for ("In the year 3030 EVERYBODY wants to be an MC")
Mind and talents going in multiple directions
And just generally being 24

But I've decided to put my energy and efforts into new (ish) projects or things I've been wanting to do for a long time.

Things to look forward too:

More "I've Got a Pen" Episodes.
A new Zine aptly named "Shea's Anatomy"
And possibly starting up a web comic

Here's a preview of what that comic would look like:

Being in college for about three years now and a slew of indoctrination before has a way of making one antsy. I'm tired of endless Photoshopping, branding, logos, typography and every other tedious thing involved with design that all seems to culminate in making shit look cool so people will fucking buy it.

What a waste of creativity. I'd rather draw chibis.
